An award-winning marketer, Margie held leadership roles at Cisco and Blackboard, where she built and managed teams responsible for demand generation, content strategy, and digital marketing. She is a former marketing instructor at Johns Hopkins University and the author of Brand Breakthrough: How to Go Beyond a Catchy Tagline to Build an Authentic, Influential and Sustainable Brand Personality.

Steven is a product strategist and freelance writer. He creates accessible content about complex topics such as cyber security, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and software development. In a prior life, Steven built and led product management groups with a number of technology startups, all of which eventually had successful exits. He began his career doing technical support for a medical device startup, where he answered “patient-on-the-table” service calls from neurosurgeons. This prepared him to handle even the most pressure-filled, ambiguous situation calmly and pragmatically. Steven completed his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering at Tufts University and earned his MBA from Duke University, where he was a Rollins Scholar.

With 15+ years of experience and a BFA in Visual Communications, Kevin has worked in everything from web, print, brand development, and general troubleshooting. His work in WordPress allows him the flexibility to give users control over their own websites while maintaining a custom look. As a front-end (user interface) developer, Kevin builds his designs into semantic HTML markup and CSS, and his familiarity with the technical aspects of design give him an eye for detail. He focuses on creating attractive, user friendly websites that account for speed, usability, and accessibility.
